Kibu is looking for a highly collaborative, solutions-oriented Software Engineer to be an integral part of their growing Product & Engineering team.
What You'll Do
Your main objective will be to develop features and infrastructure that will enhance our platform and user experience. You will be a key contributor to the direction and execution of our product, and to making technical decisions that advance our current offerings. You will collaborate cross functionally and play a major part in the continued innovation at Kibu.
This will be a hybrid role, at our office based out of Stamford, CT.
Collaborate cross functionally to improve the testing and reliability of existing systems and features.
Assist in scaling our backend frameworks to support new feature requests and performance requirements.
Write and deliver reliable code through integration, test automation, and in-depth code reviews.
Continuously iterate, improve the performance, efficiency, and maintainability of existing applications.
Monitor and debug applications in production, identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
Work within guidelines set by the team to tackle problems.
About You
You're a full stack developer, with 2+ years of applicable work experience across frontend and backend.
You have extensive experience with JavaScript (TypeScript preferred), React, NextJS, MySQL, and Git.
Bonus points for experience with Tailwind, ShadCn, PlanetScale, Severless Infrastructure and Server components.
You are Connecticut based or willing to relocate to Connecticut.
You care about building clean code and are passionate about continuous development of your technical skillset.
You have previously written test scripts and SQL queries.
You love to build relationships and have an eagerness to collaborate across disciplines and quickly learn new domain knowledge.
You are inquisitive and believe that broad curiosity helps to generate process improvements.
You are passionate about community and accessibility and want to build innovative technology to support an inclusive future.
