Summary/Objective
The mechanical engineer designs new weighing and medical equipment, customizes existing products, interacts with customers and suppliers, and facilitates the manufacturing of our products.
Essential Functions

Performs engineering assignments to design new or modify existing products to specification.
Designs parts and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software packages.
Analyses designs with SolidWorks Simulation and SolidWorks Plastic
Designs manufacturable products within the company's current or planned manufacturing methods.
Leads and helps in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of new products and prototypes.
Ensures that new products comply with all applicable rules and regulations.
Coordinates and works with electronics engineering, manufacturing engineering and drafters.
Sources and selects components needed for products.
Aids in the implementation of new products or reinvented products in our manufacturing process.
