Job Description:

The Packaging Operator 1 at MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan Falls will stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label and over pack liquid products per approved packaging specifications while utilizing all required safety equipment. The following tasks will be completed daily: Complete appropriate packaging documentation perISOprocedures and deliver products to inventoryFill, cap and label chemical productsFollow all quality and safety proceduresSupport quality systems Train others and work in a team setting Days/hours: 12 hour night shift position on a 2-2-3 schedule: Hours are 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (M/T on, W/R off, F/S/S on, M/T off, W/R on, F/S/S off, repeat)



Physical Attributes:



Wear appropriate protective gear, (hard hats, glasses/goggles, chemical resistant suits, gloves, safety shoes) and other personal protection equipment "PPE" to protect from toxic or corrosive chemicals in the forms of liquids, solids, vapors or airborne particlesSit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl Lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted Move more than 50 pounds with assistance Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focusRegular use of phones, computers, office equipment, and laboratory equipment



Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



High School Diploma or GED



Preferred Qualifications:



6+ months work experience in a chemistry, biology or other life science environmentRead and understand oral and written instructionsBasic math skills including the metric system Understand SOPs/UOPs, cleaning protocols, work and conduct rules Use of safety equipment and semi-automated equipment Hand-eye coordination and small/large tool dexterity Excellent teamwork and communication skills Time management, organizational and problem solving skills1+ year of forklift experience RSREMD
