The position will be responsible for driving the Digital Energy Solution Offer roadmap, by creating, promoting, and supporting integrated, intelligent solutions for data centres in USA and Globally. This primarily includes BMS, EMPS and Substation Automation and controls.
Bring innovation and differentiation (killer apps) to our customers, addressing business needs, customer process constraints, and technical challenges, in order to improve the solution margin
Develop reference architectures by C&SP customer.
Influence Digital Energy roadmap with Segment solution and offer requirements
Work with SAEs and KAM to ensure Digital Energy growth. Which includes BMS, EMPA, Substation Automation.
As a global architect, will have to make the synthesis of use-cases brought by local solution architects, in order to identify platforming opportunities to be included in reference architectures for his market segment
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Understand customer applications for building, process, energy management and life cycle expected performances.
Speci fy applications (killer apps) where Schneider Electric will provide differentiation and innovation to solve typical customer pain-points of his market segment .
Create and maintain a set of reference architectures for his market segment in line with customer expectations, enabling high level prescription and standardized / more accurate engineering resulting in saving time, optimizing costs and reducing tendering and execution risks.
Animate the community of local architects to capitalize experience for the segment and feed the Global Segment Solution Offer roadmap with inputs from Customer Projects executed in countries. Contribute to define and set the targets of local Solution Architects and set up-skilling program to get them certified.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Solution Offer Management :
Contribute to define and p promote the unique Customer Value Propositions for the Segment
Define the long-term Segment Solution offer roadmap.
Feed the Business Units roadmaps with specifications (operational, functional and technical) of differentiating segment offers
Specify interfaces (hardware , software & mechanical) to enable a smooth integration within EcoStruxure, from solution design to after-sales services
Document "poison pills" that facilitate the prescription of SE differentiating offers
Animate the Segment Offer Committee (to be held on a quarterly basis) for his Segment
Supervise the Offer Creation Process gates related to his/her Segment Solution offer roadmap
Potentially test in our lab proposed solutions with the customer. Aid in FAT, SAFT.
Solution Selling:
Support local organisations to build Customer Value Proposition and offers for critical Must Win projects
Networking
Share experience with other global Solution architects, with his community of local architects
