Job Title: IT/Finance Business Systems Analyst

Position Summary

The SAP Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting, evaluating, designing and configuring finance computer systems and software to meet the needs of the business. The role is expected to work closely with Finance users to solve business problems in the areas of finance, operations, human capital, customer, governance, reporting, risk, and compliance, using SAP and other technologies.

This is a hybrid role, working at least three times weekly from the office in West Palm Beach, FL.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant experience in the IT field
  • Extensive (over 5 years) experience in strategizing, designing, and implementing S4 financial solutions
  • At least 2 years of direct involvement in SAP S4 Project Implementation from start to finish, particularly focusing on New GL
  • Proficient in configuring SAP FI and SAP CO for S/4HANA
  • More than 5 years of hands-on experience in Business Analysis, including requirements management, solution finding, and peer communication
  • Knowledge or experience in integrating SAP modules with other financial applications like Basware or Concur
  • Over 5 years of practical involvement with SAP FI and CO modules, covering General Ledger (GL)/New GL, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA), CO Profitable Analyst (COPA), and Fixed Asset Accounting
  • Skilled in Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Technical Solution Design, Negotiation, Change Management, and Continuous Service Improvement
  • Familiarity with working in virtual teams and diverse international settings
  • Strong grasp of financial business processes and control methodologies

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze and optimize global financial processes using SAP S4, collaborating with regional finance and IT teams to standardize processes worldwide.
  • Assist in end-to-end solution design and configuration using industry-standard methodologies.
  • Configure system integration points between SAP FICO and other interconnected modules.
  • Offer user support for various finance solutions like Basware (AP), Concur (Travel/Expense management), and other finance consolidation/planning tools.
  • Define solution design practices and standards aligned with SAP best practices.
  • Support the establishment of technology strategies and roadmaps for finance enterprise capabilities.
  • Contribute to cost/benefit analysis and align technical design with product roadmaps.
  • Lead design workshops, assessments, and planning sessions, demonstrating project management skills.
  • Collaborate with finance specialists to configure SAP S4 and ECC solutions hands-on.
  • Provide recommendations on SAP application implementations and third-party system integrations.
  • Learn and support non-SAP applications crucial to finance processes.
  • Ensure quality control in the finance portion of implementation projects.
  • Estimate work efforts and develop detailed work plans.
  • Engage with global stakeholders including business and IT clients.
  • Demonstrate cross-functional leadership by understanding end-to-end processes.
  • Follow project plans diligently, identifying dependencies and resource needs.
  • Evaluate and assess newer technologies for potential implementation.
  • Communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines effectively.
  • Develop proof of concepts to showcase proposed technical solutions.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with diverse business, functional, and technical teams.

• SAP S4 FICO Certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including MS Project and Visio.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experienced in trouble shooting system & data issues.
• A basic knowledge on Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) methodology is a plus.
• Self-sufficient team player with the ability to cooperate with user community and lead projects from beginning to success.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed to support our business.
