Buyer Manufacturing Components Responsibilities: The Buyer is responsible for managing the development, delivery, cost and quality of all incoming production components by fostering strong relationships with the supply base. This includes coordinating activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals.

Job Type: Full-Time located in either Huntingdon TN or Sullivan IL or Princeton KY

Core Responsibilities of our Buyer:

Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers
Manage supplier performance in quality, delivery, price and technical support
Participate with supplier and product development activities for continuous improvements of design and costs
Visit suppliers on a regular scheduled basis for supplier quality reviews and audits
Travel up to 30% with buyer scheduled visits with potential unscheduled travel

Qualifications for Buyer:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical school and/or 3 or more year's related experience and /or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment
