Protects and safeguards premises, property, personnel, assets and operations of the Bank through customer-focused services as an armed Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer.
May require operating a post; working special law enforcement duties such as securing crime scenes or perimeters around incidents; and/or performing directed law enforcement activities in emergency or crisis circumstances without being relieved for extended periods of times.

The anticipated start date is January 5, 2021.
Training will occur in at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City - Denver Branch, January 11 - 29, 2021 and in Atlanta, GA for three weeks, February 8 - 26, 2021.
Starting salary for this position is dependent on qualifications.
Key Activities:
Performs all law enforcement activities and enforces appropriate federal laws. Protects and safeguards lives, property, and Bank operations. Responds to disturbances and other rapidly evolving events, including potentially life-threatening situations.
Makes critical decisions at the scene of emergencies and potentially life-threatening situations prior to the arrival of more senior officers.
Accesses National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and intelligence information, to check for warrants, those on terrorist watch lists, and other caution indicators.
Detains persons identified through NCIC with active warrants for local law enforcement.
Controls access to Bank and high security areas, including inspecting individuals, their property, and/or vehicles.
Performs interior and exterior and security law enforcement patrols, checks and escorts visitors through sensitive or restricted areas.
Handles routine law enforcement calls for service and requests from Bank population, including visitors.
Prepares detailed incident reports of emergencies and routine events.
Assists as needed in evacuations, including assisting in the evacuation of a disabled person in an emergency.
Operates and monitors Bank law enforcement and life safety systems and equipment, including but not limited to the closed circuit television system, integrated access control and law enforcement alarm systems, x-ray machines, metal detectors, biometric readers, radio system, fire system, public address system, and fire extinguishers.
May serve as a communications/control room center operator.
Operates Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and incident management system, by retrieving and entering data.
Views closed circuit television monitors and computer systems intermittently for up to 12 hours.
Wears law enforcement uniform, including utility belt, handgun, and bullet resistant vests while on duty.
