Description

Job Description:

The Sr. Systems Administrator plays a key role in enhancing and maintaining MOBE's Compute and Network Infrastructure. This is an experienced level position that requires a Jack-of-all-Trades level of experience with a strong drive to learn more.

Responsibilities:


  • Implement and troubleshoot IT infrastructure to include servers, networking, and security components within our AWS and Azure infrastructure

  • Comply with project plans and software development lifecycle standards

  • Build and support integrations between all MOBE systems internal and external (Okta, Salesforce, Marketo, Time Trade, Five9...) and other third-party applications

  • Collaborate with software development peers to design, develop and support Salesforce's integration with other MOBE technology platforms

  • Assist IT Operations with the day-to-day management of IT infrastructure and vendor management

  • Maintain applications and systems documentation used in design, development, test and support activities.

  • Contribute to team effectiveness by completing assigned projects on time

  • Provide information by answering questions and requests

  • Diagnose root causes of service issues and drive resolution of issues while working with the appropriate vendors

  • Advanced understanding of Cloud environments (Azure and AWS). Examples of specific areas for an AWS environment including but not limited to; EC2, CloudWatch, Elastic IP and other AWS systems/features managed by MOBE or applicable vendor. Similar for Azure.

  • Support IIS website deployments which may require minimal off-hours or out of normal business hours work

  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards

  • Perform special projects as defined by leader

  • All other duties as assigned


 

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of additional experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of Systems Support experience in complex technical environments
  • Ability to effectively manage Linux/UNIX and Windows systems
  • Experience integrating and configuring Software as a Service offerings
  • Experience with cloud based hosted infrastructures (AWS, Azure...)
  • Ability and willingness to learn new tools and applications
  • Proficiency in a common language such as PowerShell, Bash, Java, C#, Python or JavaScript
  • Understanding and implementation of Virtual Desktop Infrastructures
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle
  • Knowledge of system architecture and usage of APIs
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts to business users and management


Desired Qualifications


  • Knowledge of cloud development and product environments
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment delivering results on multiple concurrent projects
  • Understanding of Data processing and Secure File transmissions
  • Healthcare, marketing or call center operations experience
