The Role

• Create system integration test specification to link system elements to interface definition of system architecture design.


• Write manual and automated test scripts for interface testing and documenting results.


• Lead vehicle integration and retrofit activities, Calibration of cameras, LIDAR, RADAR and GPS/IMU sensors.


• Collaborate with verification and validation team for root cause analysis for system and feature level failures. Logging of dumps, sensor and algorithmic data to assist with issue reproducibility. Designed and implemented a lead vehicle tracking solution for verifying environmental model accuracy.


• Assist in formulating guidelines for AV usage by driver and co-driver by developing AV safety training curriculum for safe operation by testers -available safety overrides and failsafe mechanisms.


• Manage the integration and tuning of the Motion Controllers.


• Support vehicle testing, debugging and tuning efforts.


• Take responsibility for prototype development in ROS environment and Visteon runtime environment.

The Requirements

To be a good fit for the Data Scientist you will have:

• BS. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Robotics.


• At least one year of related experience.


• Strong experience in MATLAB, Simulink or dSPACE or other industrial tools.


• Familiarity with control theory and strong knowledge of Real-Time control design methods.


• Experience with lateral and/or longitudinal control approaches for autonomous vehicles.


• Proven record of (Optimal Control / PID Controllers) implementation and design.


• Experience with Motion Control and Vehicle Control features Development.

Desired Competencies:

• A Master's Degree in Control Theory is preferred.


• Experience in the automotive / autonomous driving, ADAS sector is preferred.


• Very goodScripting/C/C++ experience will be a plus.
