What you will do

The Program Manager will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Familiar with a variety of the Engineering and Project Management concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Ability to navigate in an organization to make things happen. Possess leadership qualities with ability to supervise/direct people. Product launch experience is a must.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders and assist them, as appropriate, with issues or concerns to satisfactory resolution.


• Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.


• Demonstrated track record of managing product development projects to completion.


• Effectively manage change, shift gears, and make decisions.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor's degree


• 10 years of professional experience in product design, new product introduction in a manufacturing industry.


• 5 or more years of experience in program management.


• Product Development and manufacturing business experience (i.e. working with design engineers, manufacturing, sourcing, product management, marketing, etc.)


• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel


• Strong conflict management and critical thinking skills


• Knowledge of PMI's Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK®)

Preferred:

• 4 year degree in Engineering


• Fire protection industry experience preferred but not required.


• Visio experience


• PMP® certification
