The Corporate Communications Specialist will assist with various aspects of internal and external messaging, including administrative support, coordination and execution of various projects and events.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Provide administrative support; schedule meetings, prepare correspondence, maintain distribution lists, maintain subscriptions, generate and distribute reports, etc.
Prepare materials for presentations and meetings including development of presentations and other collateral.
Provide ongoing project support for environmental, social and governance items
Implement corporate communication strategies
Coordinate external and internal communications (memos, newsletters, press releases, etc.)
Update content on company website
Assist in planning of events, meetings and conferences
Manage media inquiries and arrange interviews, statements, etc.
Collaborate as necessary with the various departments at the corporate office
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in communications or related field preferred, or related experience, training and education.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of basic marketing and communications concepts.
Proficient with event planning and coordination of communication.
Previous related work experience for 5 years
Experience and knowledge in proofreading and editing
Project management experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Photo, design and video-editing skills a plus
