As the lead recruiter for our Investment Banking group, you will collaborate with the business to attract and select the best talent for their teams. Your understanding of the banking landscape, your network of contacts, and passion for matching key talent with the right role will enable you to hire the best people who will thrive in our exciting culture. Your relationship management and influencing skills will make you a credible partner to the business, providing valuable insights and market trends.
In this role, you will directly support clients in our Banking teams and focus your efforts on hiring analysts, associates and VPs to help us build out our rapidly growing business. You may also support other front office areas as volumes dictate.
To be successful, you'll need to:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process to ensure qualified candidates are selected to fill critical open vacancies. This involves sourcing, screening, and negotiating with successful candidates to fill positions quickly and effectively.
Develop and deliver diverse pipelines of active and passive talent for future and active roles, as well as continuously network and establish strong relationships with diverse candidates and organizations.
Be a team player who collaborates well with stakeholders, and provides exceptional client service to hiring managers and candidates, internally and externally.
Understand the Mizuho value proposition, and be able to market the organization and the role effectively.
Leverage your experience with recruitment tools and programs, (ATS, LinkedIn, Referral Programs, job boards, social media etc) to grow your talent pipelines.
Provide regular reporting on progress, using available tools. Analyze the effectiveness of your efforts and make recommendations to enhance and improve the process.
Your profile:
Proven experience (5+ years) in end to end recruiting, and experience in financial services, specifically within the Investment Banking and Capital Markets space.
You are flexible, adaptable and persevere as deliverables and priorities change.
You have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, a commercial mindset, and strong client service and relationship management skills.
You are hands on in filling requisitions, while you also think strategically and commercially.
You have experience working with an Applicant Tracking System, (Workday preferred but not required).
You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
