Job Dimensions :

The Systems Analyst is in the HWS Information Systems group and will work closely with many functional groups within the HWS business, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality and finance to design and deliver solutions in alignment with the HWS strategic direction. This primary responsibility is for business analysis, functional design and deployment of new and modified solutions in the Oracle EBS enterprise application software suite and third-party bolt-on application modules.

Major Activities & Key Challenges:


  • Perform self-audit activities along with process documentation development, update and review
  • Support existing processes and solutions
  • Possess the ability to read and write Oracle SQL
  • Specific area responsibility will center on Oracle shop floor functionality including inventory, quality and custom bolt-on client applications developed in PL/SQL and Microsoft C#
  • Evaluate business problems and processes, evaluate requirements, scope, functionality, priorities - provide recommended solution alternatives in alignment with business objectives
  • Development of project requirements, including detailed specs, work estimates, timelines, deliverables and milestones. This includes plan development for small to medium sized projects. Provide leadership and direction to other work teams, such as Howmet Aerospace Corporate workgroups
  • Develops an in-depth understanding of the business processes in their area(s) of assignment, and a general understanding of the Howmet Wheel Systems business
  • Pursues continuous learning consistent with changes in technology, and uses this to influence IS direction
  • Leverage day-to-day interaction and activities to identify process improvement opportunities, sharing knowledge with other team members;
  • Provide systems expertise in the solutions area assigned. This includes providing support to sustaining activities and to project activities for the assigned area.

Environment, Health & Safety Requirements:


  • Comply with all local, corporate and regulatory environmental, health and safety protocols and procedures at Howmet facilities and non-Howmet operations where we have IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure IT staff and contractors that are performing IT work also adhere to these rules.
Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications :


  • Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems

  • Experience working within Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Experience in SQL, Python, C#
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Excellent problem solving, collaboration, and analytical skills
