Site Support - Hamilton, WA at Stellar Industrial Supply in Everett, Washington

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible, hard-working, and independent customer focused representative provide exceptional service to our customer, Janicki Industries, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction as well as following all customer specific guidelines.  Days will be spent facilitating the service and movement of product through the customer’s appointed places of business, working closely with company representatives to satisfy all their customer service needs and resolving any issues that may arise.  This position requires front-line analysis and resolution where appropriate, calling on and utilizing all available Stellar resources as needed.

Janicki Industries is an engineering and manufacturing company that specializes in designing and manufacturing high precision prototypes, tools, and production parts.  This is not your typical office setting.  We are embedded within their facilities in Sedro-Woolley and Hamilton, WA with the majority of time spent at the Hamilton location.  You will have daily interaction with the customer, completing quotes and orders, processing inventory, filling vending machines, and problem solving. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensures delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquiries
  • Be the first point of customer contact for general inquiries about orders, scheduling, delivery of product, etc.
  
  
  • Adeptly handle all customer inquiries and requests
  
  
  • Accurately enter quotes and orders using ERP system (Prophet 21)
  
  
  • Learn, understand, and utilize the automated or semi-automated systems and processes put in place by our Solutions team, including vending machines, wireless warehouse, and other related processes and systems
  
  
  • Expedite all open quotes and orders with urgency and accuracy
  
  
  • Check on inventory specific to the customer, ensuring that all Min/Max levels and safety stock are adequate
  
  
  • Focus on customer specific requirements


• Act as a liaison between Account Managers, Specialists, Customer Experience Managers, and other departments as needed


• Engage in continual learning of all Stellar service, programs, processes and product offerings


• Follow all customer guidelines and procedures as it pertains to your position
  
  • Follow all on-site safety and emergency procedures
  
  
  • Stay current on all required training and certifications

Perform other duties as required

Physical Demands: 

Light to moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing or walking or maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks. Frequently works with light objects and light hand tools.

Work Environment:

• Marginal to moderate hazards that are typically predictable or well protected against

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in MS Office, specifically Outlook and Excel


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong organization, planning, prioritizing abilities with attention to detail

  • Experience with ERP systems such as CribMaster is a plus


• Ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lb – 50lbs and on occasion up to 75lbs

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 2-3 years of relevant customer service or warehouse related experience
