Job Description:

Position Summary:

Under direct supervision, an eReturns Processor in warehouse operations is responsible for processing returned/recalled eCommerce products on behalf of a retailer or manufacturer. The eReturns Processor is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing the items in strict accordance with the client’s instructions, which sometimes includes repackaging them. 

The eReturns Processor position requires high attention to detail and ability to operate technology such as barcode scanners, digital scales, software applications, and touch screen computers and the ability read, understand and follow standard operating procedures specific to this position.

Primary Duties:


  • Receive and open containers of product; visually inspect the product and compare it to the paperwork included with the container

  • Efficiently and accurately scan product codes to capture item information, using scanning equipment, for input of information into computerized systems

  • Inspect items for damage, tears, stains, odors, etc. according to client’s instructions; follow instructions for how to handle any problem items

  • Sort scanned items into appropriate container locations

  • Complete paperwork and/or make system notations to maintain accurate records

  • Update daily tracking records

  • Always maintain a clean and orderly workstation and area

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:


  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • High School diploma (or its equivalent) or minimum of two year’s work experience in a warehouse or production job; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position

  • Working knowledge of computers

  • Able to follow standard operation and safety procedures

  • Able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled

  • Able to work under time pressure and meet production goals; able to work more than 8 hours per day (over-time) as needed

  • Able to assist with other operations within the warehouse, as needed

  • Able to handle hazardous waste materials with appropriate safety measures

  • Regularly required to remain in a standing position more than 2 hours at a time.
