ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Summarize filings made in regulatory proceedings and orders issued by regulatory authorities, with a focus on impact to the Company
Research state and regional policies related to the electric transmission industry.
Provide support to the regulatory team’s advocacy efforts on transmission policy initiatives.
Develop an understanding of the Company’s key initiatives and identify regulatory issues of interest to the Company
REQUIREMENTS
Entering Sophomore, Junior or Senior year at a 4 year college or university.
Substantial coursework in one or more of the following: accounting, finance, economics, business, political science, engineering
Interest in public policy and regulation of the utility industry
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to understand and convey complex information clearly, concisely, and effectively
Logical approach to problem solving and the ability to thoroughly research issues and analyze various types of information
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and complete the work necessary to meet deadlines
Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
