We are seeking to expand the finance team with a Corporate Controller who is proactive, resourceful, and can exhibit strong problem-solving skills. You will perform a crucial role supporting the financial management and accounting functions of the company by maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, general ledger and payroll.


  • Coordinate the annual audit of consolidated financial statements and employee retirement benefit plans.


  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements on a quarterly basis.


  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.


  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, federal taxes and state taxes.


  • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes.


  • Monitor and analyze financial data trends and budget variances to provide recommendations for improvement.


  • Oversee the employee expense report process, fixed asset accounting, and intercompany transfer pricing policies.


  • Lead a high-performing finance team by providing guidance to team members and supporting new initiatives.


  • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency within the company.


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.


  • Proven experience in a similar role at a multinational company involved in the manufacture of products.


  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles applicable to a manufacturing company, as well as financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.


  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (SAP preferred).


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Attention to detail and the ability to work individually, within a multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and vendors.
