SUMMARY:
The Fleet Director is responsible for all aspects of vehicle and equipment management (including planning) which includes oversight and direction for all fleet repair and maintenance programs, technical standards and specification development, regulatory, contractual and policy compliance, supplier quality management, fuel management programs, and management of Fleet systems. The Director will manage asset productivity, processes, and the development/governance of fleet metrics, and provide best in class administrative practices. The Director will focus on fleet efficiency, continue to develop our vehicle replacement/deployment strategy and will manage all external providers (OEM’s, Up-Fitters, R&M and leasing vendors). The Director/Fleet Group will also provide high quality support to our field operations that focuses on cost control, customer service, and operational efficiency, while ensuring that Field Operations are fully compliant with our Fleet Management programs/policies.
Fleet Size and financial scope:
Fleet Size: 1,000 plus
Repair & Maintenance Annual Budget: $20mm
Vehicle Fuel Annual Budget: $18mm
