We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking, and skilled Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) Manager to be part of the development and implementation of a world-class SIOP process that will drive the company to reach its aggressive growth plans. This strategic planning role manages the short and long-term supply and demand planning supporting an assigned business segment with annual sales of approximately $350 million. The right candidate will have strong quantitative skills and, at the same time, be able to easily connect and communicate his/her analysis to other senior leaders and teams across the OBE organization.  This role can be based in any of our Service Centers, Metal Processing facilities, or Project Plants.

 

Here’s What You’ll Get to Do

• Manage and facilitate the monthly cross-functional SIOP meetings to align key stakeholders on the demand plan, supply plan, and financial deliverables via a disciplined management process.


• Beginning with customers’ expected delivery requirements and how the market behaves, track, report, and maintain key SIOP metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing measures to enhance overall value chain performance.


• Collaborate with cross-functional Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to address long-term critical demand, supply and financial requirements to ensure a cohesive SIOP approach.


• Working closely with Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Finance, maintain and refine all relevant demand and supply planning factors/parameters, including lead times, inventory targets, safety stocks, time fences, replenishment strategies, etc., to enhance operational efficiency, elevate service levels, and optimize working capital investments.


• Communicate complex analysis and reports to stakeholders, facilitating the integration of SIOP insights into decision-making processes.


• Implement technology solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the SIOP process, including the use of advanced analytics and forecasting tools.


• Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various factors on the SIOP process, providing well-developed recommendations considering relevant business inputs.


• Fulfill additional duties as required, consistently aligning with the principles and goals of the SIOP process.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. Master's degree is a plus.


• Ability to travel ~20%


• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.


• Solid communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across various teams.


• Solid knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory optimization, and demand planning.


• Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in relevant software tools.


• Ability to drive continuous improvement in SIOP processes.


• Certification in APICS/ASCM and/or willingness to achieve certification within 12 months of hire is preferred.
