This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a PLM/SCM Project Manager , you will be responsible for:



  • Planning, managing, and maintaining the rollout of deployment activities and project plans for our internal business customers.

  • Demonstrating strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with various teams across the organization in the area of ALM, PLM and SCM area in US.

  • Consult business and process owners to optimize business processes using IT solution landscape; Consult internal customers how to optimize, adapt and apply existing IT PLE services to their benefit.

  • Consolidation of cross functional demand within the SHS business areas to realize synergies; Support or lead the creation of a requirements specification and ensure alignment of the potential solutions with the IT strategy and IT roadmap.

  • Prepare project order and charter, track delivery of demand from start to end of realization phase; provide transparency of solution quality and usage after implementation or rollout.

  • Experience in PLM/SCM processes.

  • Project management experience.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both oral and written).

  • Business process mapping.

  • Business requirement analysis.

  • Familiar with the common regulatory requirements of medical technology.

  • Experience with common PLM/ SCM tool platforms (preferably SAP /Teamcenter / Polarion) and have an IT affinity.


Required skills to have for the success of this role:



  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation.

  • Intercultural Experience, Customer Orientation and willingness to travel to customers at Siemens Healthineers sites.

  • Strong verbal, written presentation, and communication skills
