This position provides administrative support to the Office of Professional Development.
Daily Operations
Maintains database of professional development activities for tracking & evaluation- surveys.
Works closely with the Associate Dean of Professional Development to plan and implement workshops, and other programs (White Coat Ceremony and Graduate Student Appreciation Week) to facilitate student career and professional development.
Provides assistance with preparing grant proposals to include conducting research, gathering internal and external data and developing templates to be included in student proposals and institutional grants.
Manages the calendar and communication of professional development activities.
Identifies and advises students needing additional support and provides sustained, individualized, and developmentally appropriate coaching to assist in their social, leadership, and interpersonal development.
Develops & maintains an alumni contact list.
Drafts correspondence to internal and external program stakeholders.

Required Education and Experience
Master's degree required. Minimum of 1 year experience administering training and professional development programs.
Strong computer literacy/proficiency required: an understanding and appreciation of student services database software and online resources, and the willingness to respond to the needs of prospective and current students and faculty in a technologically-oriented society. Proficiency with Google suite of products, MS office, publishing software, etc.
Demonstrated commitment to student success and retention
Experience with student information systems and databases
Evidence of expertise in written, spoken and/or visual communication (writing sample required)
