Facilitate and lead various project management meetings
Ensure management artifacts are kept up to date and available to all stakeholders
Plan, manage and facilitate collaboration meetings with OCIO and critical DOI stakeholder groups
Facilitate "root cause" analysis and "red team" review meetings
Facilitate the acceptance and organizational change associated with alternative business processes
Facilitate the development of a solutions architecture, and operational support plan
Formulation and updating and baseline of Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS) project schedules
Identify project issues, manage and track to resolution or escalation for multiple, concurrent projects
Implementation and installation planning and execution and roll-out
Incorporation of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and change management processes within project delivery cycles
Leading team members to deliver software development lifecycle documentation
Leading and coordinating efforts in the development of pricing models for new services or new aspects of existing services and creation of service catalogs
Leading technical staff in the development of support models for new services or new aspects of existing services
Management / Configuration Control and IT Workload Management
Operating Plan Development and utilization: the contractor may be required to develop operating plan documents to provide a description of how production support services will be delivered.
Perform business requirements and technical requirements development (i.e., Use Cases)
Perform management reporting
Reengineering flows and process documentation.
Requirements Documentation
Technical Solution Development
Assist with the execution of configuration management processes and procedures.
Develop and track ongoing operational tasks related to supporting a directory services environment.
Support for transition activities which will be orchestrated within the overall context of the Unified Messaging Section body of work.
Tracking and reporting progress, as required
Lessons learned creation and facilitation
Assist with conducting market research for technical solutions
Assist with the documentation, development, and version control of concept of operations documents
Assist with the preparation of business requirements and technical requirements documents development (i.e. Use Cases).
Assist with the documentation of Risk Management Plans
Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations to update senior management on latest developments and issues
Prepare meeting agendas, facilitate technical conversations during meetings and document action items.
Assist with Technical Solutions Development
Identify and monitor project issues for management, resolution or escalation
Track and monitor activities on a daily basis to include risk identification and mitigation strategies
Resource Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with at least 5 years' experience in a Technical PM role
Demonstrated experience working with Directory Services Infrastructure
Familiarity with MS-Office automation products, including MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Project
Knowledge of requirements analysis and management;
Ability to work collaboratively; Demonstrated experience and capabilities in high level report writing and oral presentations for executive level management.
