Role: Cyber Security Analyst 3



Job Type: Contract (1+ year)



Location: Remote




Summary:
This role will support the development of a cybersecurity metrics and data analysis discipline that does not currently exist within the Cybersecurity and Privacy organization (CPO). This role will partner with CPO leaders to define and build Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), dashboards, standard reporting templates, as well as ad hoc presentations and analysis.



Desired Skills: Data Analysis and Visualization: proficiency using data analysis tools (ex: Python, SQL) and visualization platforms (ex: Power BI, Tableau)

• Security Information Event Management (SIEM): experience with SIEM solutions (ex: Splunk) for collecting, analyzing, and correlating security event data
• Security Analytics and Threat Intelligence: knowledge of security analytics techniques and ability to leverage threat intel to inform decision-making
• Risk Management and Assessment: Ability to conduct risk assessments, define risk metrics, set targets and measure incremental changes.
• Programming and Scripting: proficiency in languages like Python, Powershell, Bash, to automate tasks, develop custom tools, and integrate security solutions.
• Cyber security domains: familiarity with cloud security, network security, compliance and regulatory standards, incident response, and scoping value-add metrics for those domains.
