Dietary Aide at Napa Valley Care Center in Napa, California

Job Description:

Shift: 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Napa Valley Care Center is seeking Dietary Aide to work full-time.

The Dietary Aide/Dishwasher is to assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals.

• Prepare hot and cold foods and beverages for residents' meals as assigned by the Cook or Dietary Supervisor.


• Follow recipes and posted menus for regular, modified, and therapeutic diets.


• Read tray card and serve the correct amount and type of food.


• Help clean kitchen.


• Follow instructions and assignments given by Dietary Supervisors.


• Dishwashing


• Assisting residents and staff at the window,


• Preparing coffee carts


• Cleaning the kitchen at the end of the day

Experience:

• Dietary Department: 1 year (Preferred)


• Food Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Work Experience: Experience working in kitchen of communities or institutions that provide meals to large groups of people on a daily basis is preferred..

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
