The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.
Skills:
For the safety of all assigned employees and subcontractors to ensure the safe execution of all activities, including the strict adherence to company safety policies and programs through the communication and enforcement of the Company's Safety and Health Management Program, including the ability to independently stop work for a safety violation or suspected safety violation
And recommend termination of subcontractors / vendors including negotiations, sub agreements, material order placements and PO's of subcontractors and vendors schedule, performance, and payments
Project meetings, including project team, owner and subcontractors meetings
Understanding of the contract including Company's contractual obligations and the owners obligations
Project Risk and independently develop Mitigation Plans
Timely notices as required to the owner to protect company's interests regarding extra work, design changes, delays, impacts, etc., which may require independent contract analysis
project claims in collaboration with the project team.
Submittals, process RFIs & shop drawings, as required by the Owner
and/or coordinate onsite personnel, equipment and material resources
the project budget utilizing company's Cost Control Systems
Reports regarding financial, schedule and production reports for the Project Executive
and coordinate payments from owner and ensure timely payments
and maintain the project schedule in sync with the project budget
and maintain site logistics plan with Superintendent staff
the project delivers a quality product meeting Company's high quality standards
support in the Estimating or Accounting, and general Admin departments as needed
