ONC BOCES is anticipating a need for fulltime Special Education Teachers at NCOC in Grand Gorge and OAOC in Milford In a special education program, each role plays a distinct yet complementary part in supporting students with diverse needs. The teacher is responsible for designing and implementing the curriculum, creating lesson plans, assessing student progress and overseeing the overall educational experience of the students. Current NYS Students with Disabilities or NYS Special Education certification is required. Special Education experience is preferred. Starting Base Salary: $43,620 Plus $525 per year of experience Plus $45 per graduate credit Plus $975 per masters degree NYS retirement, EAP, continuing education assistance, and exceptional insurance, including retiree health insurance, are available.
