Pinnacle Government Consulting, Inc. is seeking experienced Records Management Analysts / Consultants with experience in National Archives Records and Administration (NARA) and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations. The individual in this position will play a pivotal role in administering an DoD Component's Records Management program based on NARA and DoD requirements and other applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Execute day-to-day program activities, including: identifying, documenting, and assessing requirements and risks; interfacing with customers; administering and providing subject matter expertise on records management applications; overseeing records management execution; and completing and reviewing work products to ensure timeliness and completeness in accordance with requirements.
Execute records management program activities, including: documenting and following standard operating procedures, tracking and reporting metrics, performing systems data entry, and executing administrative tasks.
Review and interpret Federal and DoD records management policies and assist in the implementation of those polices at the DoD Component level.
Interact with Component records liaisons on records program activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of specific process controls and database management tools for records management, with a focus on electronic document management, retention, and disposition.
Review records to determine classification status and declassification dates.
Ensure proper disposition of records consistent with Government-wide policies and procedures.
Participate in the development and execution of business process improvement efforts, including: identification of client needs; constructing project plans; assessing current laws and regulations; evaluating risks and benefits; documenting process flows; recommending and designing solutions; and implementing improvements.
Participate in company building activities including proposal development, constructing white papers, and contributing to internal company initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
At least four years of work experience.
Active Security Clearance.
Ability to gain and hold a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
Excellent writing skills with attention to detail and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic work environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
DoD consulting experience.
In-depth knowledge of NARA, DoD, or OSD records management policies, directives, and regulatory frameworks.
NARA, DoD, or OSD records management training certifications.
