Overview

ARIVE (www.arive.com) is a dynamic, high-growth software startup revolutionizing digital mortgage originations by building industry's first Wholesale Originations Marketplace. This innovative platform seamlessly integrates independent loan originators, top-tier lenders, borrowers, referral partners, credit providers, and property and settlement service providers.

We are seeking a Global Head of People and Talent-an articulate, dynamic, and strategic leader who will report directly to the CEO. This hands-on role involves spearheading key human resource initiatives, including employee development and talent acquisition. It is crucial for ensuring that ARIVE remains agile and nimble, aligns employee expectations, and boosts engagement during our rapid growth phases, all while maintaining robust governance models. Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead HR and talent management initiatives to develop strategies that align with business objectives, foster a unified culture, and support employee growth and development.
  • Design and implement targeted HR programs that enhance employee engagement, streamline performance management, and facilitate development and training.
  • Partner closely with the CEO and business unit leaders to execute and adapt the workforce plan, improve talent management processes, and increase organizational agility.
  • Develop and maintain clear company policies and employee handbooks to ensure compliance and enhance organizational awareness.
  • Establish a platform for regular performance reviews, employee recognition, and feedback.
  • Resolve conflicts through professional mediation, maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team and manage the complete employee lifecycle, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of employee records and sensitive information.
  • Oversee and adapt compensation and benefits programs, aligning them with the company's growth goals. Regularly gather and analyze industry benchmarks to ensure competitiveness.
  • Lead efforts to enhance the company's reputation through strategic HR achievements and recognition in industry awards.
  • Provide oversight and strategic alignment for HR operations in India.

Things we look for

  • Bachelor's degree or higher is required; degrees in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields are strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in HR and people management is required, with prior experience in tech startups strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing employee performance, compensation, and development programs, with experience in utilizing engagement platforms to boost organizational culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Superior strategic thinking and analytical skills, coupled with strong business acumen, to draw key insights from data, scope data requirements, and develop clear, relevant recommendations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling work across various levels of an organization, building trust, fostering collaboration, and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment. Strong business judgment and decision-making skills, supported by experience in governance structures and processes.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making, with a deep understanding of numbers to inform and influence decisions. Exceptional judgment and discretion when handling highly sensitive people data.

What we offer

  • Salary range: $120,000 - $200,000 / year, based on skills, experience, and seniority.
  • Location: Candidate must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, able to work from ARIVE's office 2-3 days per week, with remote work flexibility on other days. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
