Job Description:

Baer is looking for SAP S4 MM IP Data Conversion Migration Consultant for a 4+ month Remote project.


Title: SAP S4 MM IP Data Conversion Migration Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 4 months
Rate: All-inclusive
Alignment: W2 Only (C2C Not Permitted)

Description:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand existing data structures, data quality issues, and mapping requirements for migration to SAP S/4HANA MM IP modules.
• Develop comprehensive data migration strategies and plans, considering factors such as data volume, complexity, dependencies, and project timelines. Define migration approach, tools, and methodologies.
• Identify source systems and data repositories containing relevant data for migration. Develop and execute extraction routines to extract data from legacy systems while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Analyze extracted data and perform necessary transformations to align it with the data model and schema of SAP S/4HANA MM IP modules. Cleanse, enrich, and normalize data as needed to meet migration requirements.
• Develop and execute data loading processes to load transformed data into the SAP S/4HANA MM IP environment. Validate data during the loading process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to business rules.
• Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to identify and resolve data anomalies, discrepancies, and errors. Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
• Optimize data migration processes for efficiency and performance, considering factors such as data volume, processing speed, and system resources. Monitor and tune migration activities as needed to meet project objectives.
• Document migration processes, procedures, and outcomes. Generate reports and metrics to track migration progress, identify issues, and communicate status to project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data migration, data conversion, or data integration projects, preferably in SAP environments.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) and Inventory and Procurement (IP) modules.
• Strong understanding of data migration concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Familiarity with data quality assurance techniques and tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
