The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Chef Tournant to join the Culinary Team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

• Assists Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chefin overall responsibility for activities of cooks and other personnel involved in preparing, cooking and presenting food in accordance with quality standards, productivity standards, cost controls, and forecast needs.
• Monitors team performance, product quality and production flow.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
• Assists with cooking demonstrations
• Work on special projects
• Trains, supervises, schedules and assists in evaluating staff.

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this role is between $80-$90,000.00 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
