Location: Watertown, NY

Description: The Judge Group is seeking qualified Nurse Practitioners to join our provider network to perform general medical disability examinations for Veterans.



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Will be administering & completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to veterans


• As a certified medical disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations.


• You develop a medical opinion of the likelihood that the Veteran's condition is related to their military service


• No treatment or prescribing medications is involved.


• Option of half (4 hours) or full (8 hour) days anywhere from 2-5 days/week Monday- Saturday, where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner


• License in state of practice


• Ability to complete 16 hours of online training in 3-4 weeks


• Graduate of an accredited program and board certification from ANCC or AANP
  
  


• An agreement for a collaborating or supervising physician, where applicable
