Job Title: RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care



Duties & Responsibilities: A Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical or procedural interventions. Working within a hospital or surgical center, the PACU RN plays a critical role in monitoring patient vital signs, managing postoperative pain, and assessing for complications while ensuring a safe and comfortable transition from the operating room to the recovery phase.



Minimum Requirements:

• RN license


• 2 years experience


• BLS


• ACLS


• PALS


• 2 10 hour shifts and 1 12 hour shift (Shift start times vary between 7a-11a)


• On call per department needs but estimated 12 hours of on call per week
