Facilities Technician at Closures White Cap Corp in Athens, Georgia

Job Description:

What we offer:

• Your schedule: 8-hour shifts 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday


• Paid weekly

• Steel-toe shoe reimbursement ($150) on hire. You can also get them when the Vulcan Shoes truck is onsite twice a year (you would pay anything over $150)

What you'll do:

• Perform routine facility maintenance, general repairs, lighting, parking lots etc.


• Identify and repair electrical problems on selected equipment


• Plumbing repairs & painting as needed


• Emergency service repairs on light industrial equipment


• Preventative Maintenance for selected equipment


• Support various departments with maintenance, repairs, renovations, and new construction activities


• Handles water treatment for facility


• Audits fire extinguishers, manages annual exchange

What you'll need to have:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Computer Knowledge


• 2-3 years previous maintenance experience


• Troubleshooting and performing repairs including, but not limited to mechanical, hydraulic, and compressed air systems will be required


• Significant experience in general facilities maintenance including electrical (high and low voltage and three phase); plumbing systems; boilers and HVAC systems, general structural repair, and maintenance
