As a Senior Installation Specialist focusing on residential appliances, particularly professional-style built-in appliances, you will oversee the quality and completion of installations while providing support to installation teams. Your role involves resolving customer issues, maintaining parts storage, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of company trucks. You will also act as a liaison between warehouse leadership and the Area Installation Manager, contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to other installation teams.
Observe installations and offer feedback for ongoing training.
Resolve claims and customer issues.
Maintain organization of parts storage areas in warehouses and place replenishment orders.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of company trucks.
Act as a liaison between warehouse leadership and the Area Installation Manager.
Conduct pre-installation and post-installation inspections, fostering strong relationships with builders to enhance customer retention.
Collaborate with the Area Installation Manager to implement improvement ideas.
Utilize 3rd party software for data entry, report generation, and building Project Master sheets.
Fulfill driver duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in construction, kitchen, plumbing, or home appliance products/installations preferred.
Valid state-issued license required; must be at least 21 years old.
Possession of a DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
Proven leadership experience preferred; you will serve as a resource for fellow installers, sales associates, and customers.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to document detailed job notes clearly and concisely.
Familiarity with reading product specifications and project plans preferred.
Outstanding attention to detail and ability to coordinate and prioritize work.
Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with critical thinking abilities, capable of working independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
