Job Description:

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a Full-Time 2nd Shift Residential Recovery Assistant in our Supervised Residential Facilities to add to our team of professionals. Second shift hours are 3 - 11:00 PM. Starting pay for this position is $16/hr.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?


  • Recovery Assistants work in a residential setting with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder to assist in developing recovery and independent living skills.

  • We utilize a person-centered approach to help residents reach their recovery goals. 


  • Recovery Assistants are not responsible for hands-on care. 

  • We offer an individualized orientation program to help you learn how to effectively work with our residents.

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?


  • Associate's degree or equivalent of 60 post-secondary education credit hours preferred. One year of post-secondary education or one year related experience in lieu of education is required.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.

  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
