I am partnered with a Commercial Construction Manager and General Contractor that specializes within the healthcare sector and has provided a range of institutions full-service Construction and Project Management services for over a decade. With annual revenues in excess of $35M, they have grown year over year, continuing to cement their expertise in the healthcare environment, adding value to a range of clients as they go. With repeat business from institutions such as Northwell, Yale & United Healthcare to name but a few, they are looking for an Interiors Superintendent to join the business.
Your new role
Prepares the project schedule, maintains reports accurately describing project status
Directs subcontractor activities within healthcare fit-outs for interior projects
Responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects
Review status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis. Large projects include multiple Superintendents.
Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
+7 years experience as a Superintendent
Experience with healthcare projects (interiors) is a must for this position.
Communication, interpersonal, organizational and team work skills are required.
Knowledgeable of OSHA requirements, and OSHA 10-hour certification.
