Line Lead at Voyant Beauty in New Albany, Ohio

Job Description:

We are seeking to add a Production Line Leader to our team. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to work on a team, and the ability to multi-task in an ever-changing manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Full understanding of Filling and Packaging technology and the capability to effectively identify and resolve issues.


• Ownership of production line performance. Ensure that work scheduled is accomplished on time and consistent with quality requirements.


• Maintains accurate documentation including but not limited to inventory, quality, and staffing.


• Responsible for logging accurate transactions within our Inventory Management System to ensure all components and finished goods are accounted for.


• Communicate process/equipment delays to appropriate levels of management as well as subsequent shifts.


• Work with other production employees to improve line performance (uptime and efficiency).


• Plan and schedule tasks; provide leadership and motivation to the team of Machine Operators and Packers.


• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and cGMP standards.


• Provide training for new team members; ensure team members are following best business practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.


• Minimum of 1 year of Manufacturing Environment experience in a similar role, 2 years preferred.


• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with employees at all levels of the organization.


• Leadership: positive attitude with ability to coach a team.


• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office. Ability to learn new software programs and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
