POSITION SUMMARY

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day accounting, reporting, and financial control support, while driving process improvement through data analysis and supporting innovation initiatives. This full-time position is based in Onalaska, WI, working Monday through Friday.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts daily/monthly
  • Prepare and post adjusting journal entries
  • Analyze account data for exceptions and resolve variances
  • Prepare reports for internal and external use
  • Reconcile inventory quantities and pricing
  • Prepare and file excise tax reports
  • Assist accounting team in process enhancements and automation
  • Maintain electronic files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
  • Provide customer service for internal and external customers
  • Other project or duties as assigned

Position Requirements
  • A associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, or Finance
  • 0-4 years relevant work experience
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel
