Job Title: Senior Category Manager Direct Materials- Electronics

Department: 8314 - Direct Materials

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Overview:

The Senior Manager will lead in the development and execution of strategies and processes to ensure supply chain resilience, supplier responsibility and effective spend management that deliver value to the business by improving quality, ensuring availability and service performance, reducing total cost of ownership, mitigating risk, aligning with suppliers on product roadmaps, and new product Introductions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and control global supply resilience strategies that continuously improve quality, delivery, service, total cost of ownership, and mitigate risk in the supply chain.

• Manage the end-to-end supplier on-boarding process.

• Provide spend management support by implementing tools, developing processes, controls, KPI and reporting.

• Manage direct manage the CBOM processes.

• Collaborate with key business stakeholders on New Product Introductions.

• Ensure supplier responsibililty and sourcing compliance.

• Proactively identify and mitigate supply risk to ensure supply chain resiliency and continuity of supply.

• Perform other duties and lead projects as required.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or engineering related discipline; master's degree in business administration preferred.

• 7-10 years' relevant experience leading a procurement group in process development and control, sourcing, negotiating, contracting, supplier management and project management.

• Prior experience in global strategic sourcing using strategic category management techniques to achieve results.

• Success in selecting suppliers and negotiating contracts that have delivered robust supply chain solutions.

• Demonstrated history of measurable cost savings on an annual basis.

• Experience in successfully using benchmarking and cost analysis tools to deliver negotiation outcomes.

• Must possess the social intelligence to influence and lead at the most senior levels within the organization.

• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

• Medical device or manufacturing experience highly preferred

Travel Requirements:

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $74,500.00 - $111,850.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
