Akkodis is seeking a Controls Engineering for a contract position with a client in Erie, PA. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who has good experience with Matlab/Simulink, and control systems.
Pay range: $30-$40/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Job Description
The System Controls Engineering Contractor will work as part of the Engineering team. Primarily help testing in the power electronics lab and process test data.
3 + years of high-powered experience with hardware testing in the lab
Essential Responsibilities
Create test documents and perform testing in the power electronics lab.
Analyze and process Test Data. Compare with simulation data.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent
3+ years of engineering experience
Understanding Control Diagrams
Understanding basic machine controls
Experience with testing real-time control systems in the lab environment
Experience with testing high-voltage power systems
Experience using model-based tools such as Matlab/Simulink.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with heavy machinery control, testing, and troubleshooting.
Experience with data acquisition systems.
Understanding of Power Electronics control systems.
