Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to initiate and expedite the transfer of inventory from and to related parties. You are to ensure that all materials, equipment, and tools are available for production and maintenance of site processes. Your role is essential for maintaining consistent quality to our customers. Coordinate with other departments to procure materials as needed.Manages purchasing of a group of routine commodity products from specified vendors. Solicits price and delivery information from vendors, enters computer files and communicates to appropriate departments. Creates and reviews purchase orders, obtains appropriate management approval.Orders are entered into SAP.Provides follow-up with vendors to expedite delivery if product is on back order or overdue. This involves using their systems to determine order status and follow-up with multiple operational and customer service contacts.Arranges for disposition of rejected and surplus equipment spares inventory.Enters and compiles data for various reports as requested.Maintains and updates department databases and purchasing vendor files (electronic and paper).Performs basic office equipment maintenance and arranges for office equipment servicing.



Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



High School Diploma or GED.1+ years of general office experience related to inventory, purchasing or materials management experience in production and/or packaging. RSREMD



Preferred Qualifications:



Associate Degree.Experience with SAP.Experience in MRO ordering.Experience receiving spares inventory.RSREMD
