Job Description:
Position: Director, Emergency/Trauma
Job Summary:
- Oversees 24-hour operations of clinical areas, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Leads management and staff, fosters collaboration with administration, physicians, and healthcare providers.
- Supports development and implementation of new programs/projects, including budgeting and marketing strategies.
Licensure and Certification:
- Current California RN License
- Current BLS provider card
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Membership and/or certification in Professional Organization
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in clinical management or administrative role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with State and Federal regulations, including Title 22
- Strong communication, budgeting, and analytical skills
- Proficient in supervisory theories, leadership, and team collaboration
- Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, staff development, and patient care evaluation
Physical Demands:
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
- Fine motor activities, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing
