Robert Half is excited to partner with an industry leading manufacturing company for their plant controller opening. The Plant Controller is a key member of the leadership team and will have multi-site responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead month-end close processes for multiple sites, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with various departments to collect necessary financial data for consolidation.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports up to trial balance.
Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in accordance with GAAP standards.
Analyze and reconcile accounts to ensure financial integrity.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify accuracy and completeness of transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
Prepare budget forecasts and compare actual financial performance against budgeted targets.
Participate in capital budgeting process and monitor capital spending against approved budgets.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and collections.
Oversee payroll processing activities, including calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
5+ years related experience in Manufacturing
Thorough knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
Multi-site financial reporting experience a plus
Must have Advanced Microsoft Excel (v-look ups/Pivot tables)
