Summary:

Prepare engineering documents and drawings following specifications, codes and regulations. Typical drawings and documents include Equipment Specifications, Networking structure and communication diagrams, The System Designer will work with Engineers on various projects. The designer will do the entire design process including but not limited to preliminary assessments, concept creation, Prefeasibility/ Feasibility design and Detail design phases. The designer will participate on problem resolution, drawing and specification production as well as client accessibility. The Systems Designer may work on several concurrent projects and, at times, may assist as a technical expert on a specialized design. CAD design will be required. Electrical design knowledge for network power requirement knowledge is required.

Your Role:

Supervise and guide team of junior designers to produce quality engineering deliverables consistent with the project proposal, standards, and safety requirements. Manage limited SOW and budget design project with minimal supervision. Maintains budgets and schedules forecast with assistance from project controls. Works under minimal supervision, work is reviewed for adequacy on quality and completion. Applies principles of safety standards in design, engineering, and construction support.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD Design preparing engineering documents and drawings following specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Experience championing the entire design process including but not limited to assessments, concept creation, and detail design phases.
• Experience with supervising, mentoring, and/or guiding junior designers.
• Experience managing SOW and budget as it pertains to the design project.
• Self-Starter and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
