What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a Senior (Sr.) Marketing Manager to grow our marketing department and help establish and guide several department and company wide initiatives. The Sr. Marketing Manager will report to the VP of Business Development. The ideal candidate has experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. The manager should be equally proficient with day-to-day marketing activities and long-term strategizing, and strive under tight deadlines to meet the company's changing needs. They will collaborate closely with multiple teams internally and externally to bring new products to life and maintain existing products.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Translate marketing initiatives into specific projects and actionable plans
Collaborate with management and team leaders to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies or improve direction for current campaigns
Analyze internal and external sales and customer trend data to make recommendations for the development of IMS' private label
Prepare strategy briefs for all new products
Manage new product launches
Identify and maintain relationships with manufacturing partners
Coordinate product samples
Travel to facility visits, trade shows, warehouse visits, etc.
Manage, develop, and implement marketing activities to maximize sales of
Review marketing metrics to measure the efficacy and value of marketing strategies or campaigns
Develop, curate, and deploy marketing content and identify appropriate sales channels
Ensure product and brand initiatives are consistent and support the organization's public image.
Manage the performance of marketing associates at IMS
What You Bring to the Table:
Excited about helping to grow private label and sourcing roadmap for the future
Possess an understanding of a product's full lifecycle from launch
Excellent at using analytical and creative skills within the same project to complete forecasting, packaging, ordering, execution, etc.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and work under time constraints
Experience managing multiple projects on varying timelines
Ability to work cohesively with others and flourish in a team environment
Proven track record of successful negotiations
Willingness to become a category expert across multiple assigned categories
Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
5 years of experience as an individual contributor
