POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of a Senior Architect, the Designer / Retail Architect works on a variety of tasks including project planning, design, and coordination and holds responsibility for specific technical design aspects of projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works with a project team and clients to understand the technical parameters required to execute the project.
  • Drafts project timelines and construction documents for review and finalization.
  • Researches, determines product feasibility, and proposes various design options and solutions.
  • Performs research and evaluates new and innovative industry products.
  • Assists with project management and administration.
  • Performs other designated tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field is required
  • Master's degree in architecture and on the path to professional licensure is preferred.
  • Must have at least 1-3 years of professional architectural design experience.
  • Proficiency of AutoCAD or REVIT, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office, and other tools.
  • Possess design creativity and solid technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on all aspects of architectural projects, with provided direction, meeting standards and timelines.
