Job Description:

The director position plays a crucial role in Michigan Tech's Information Technology department by guiding the operations of Media Technology Services (MTS). The Director supports the University in leveraging technologies to enhance learning, facilitate research, and advance strategic initiatives through the application of media technology. MTS accomplishes its mission by promoting collaboration and innovation among faculty, students, and University stakeholders. This involves designing, developing, and effectively utilizing learning environments and multimedia technologies. The range of media technology systems encompasses rich media-enabled classrooms, immersive environments, enterprise digital signage, web conferencing, video conferencing, and various eLearning and blended learning technologies. Furthermore, MTS provides engineering support for all video and audio systems within the Athletic department.
