The Learning Specialist is one of the first people each Lake Trust new hire interacts with. As the new employee onboarding trainer, the Learning Specialist is seen as a role model for the culture, our core values, living our brand promise and creating exceptional member experiences. Specifically, the position is responsible for developing, managing, facilitating and evaluating learning programs with a special emphasis on the learning needs of our Member Experience (Onstage) team members. The role will apply adult learning theory and best practices to develop and deliver training programs and tools that enhance the skills and knowledge that most impact member service and satisfaction.
New Employee Onboarding and facilitating the MEA Curriculum are the primary focus of the role. Classroom facilitation will take up approximately 85% of the specialist's time, while curriculum updates, administrative duties, and training design/ development will make up the other 15%. There will be an initial focus on Contact Center training needs, with the expectation that this position will rotate and support both Contact Center and Branch MEA training needs.
