Job Title: Intake Specialist


Job Description: The Intake Specialist is responsible for managing complex and sensitive customer issues, including estate care resolution (life events), remediations, and settlements. Key functions include assessing a wide range of customer circumstances, conducting extensive research, determining appropriate courses of action, documenting findings, and providing support through direct mediation as applicable. The Intake Specialist also manages stakeholder relationships with customers, family members, legal representatives, and business partners.


Team Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the control step.


• Serve as the final stop in the settlement review process within the recovery department.


• Conduct case reviews primarily related to credit cards.


• Receive daily and weekly reports; address control or process issues each day.


• Not customer-facing.


• This is not an entry-level position.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.

Desired Experience:

• Root cause analysis.


• Strong understanding of credit cards (main department).


• Proficiency in payment research.


• Exposure to litigation, specifically civil procedure.


• Collaboration with third-party law firms.


• Ability to work independently and resourcefully.


• Background in an enterprise/corporate environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly valuable for this role.

Education/License Requirements:

• None specified.

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Background in financial services.
