Job Description:

Kurt Manufacturing is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Quality Manager to oversee the Machining Division’s Quality Department.  This involves planning and coordinating the division’s Quality Management System and leading and directing a quality team consisting of quality engineering, inspections, and NDT.

The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with the ability to research and analyze problems and solutions, make sound, informed decisions, and be able to communicate information to various audiences through verbal and written channels.  In addition, the ideal candidate will have a vast knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO.

Required

• Knowledge of ISO and other Quality Management Systems


• Analysis, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws, and pose solutions to those flaws


• Strong communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports


•  Ability to interact with customers and build a positive company reputation

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field


• 7+ years of related experience


•  Experience with aerospace, defense, and / or semiconductor industries


• Direct supervisory experience with a passion for leadership and team development


• ASQ Certification in Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality Engineer (CMQE)


• APICS Certification
